Project description No. 1
The purpose of the project was to optimize interconnect system. Due to the optimization services, system performance has significantly increased by approximately 80%. The largest increase was achieved with the biggest processes e.g. the execution time for one of the processes was reduced from 63262 to 6817 minutes (approx. nine times).
Project description No. 2
The purpose of the project was to reorganize the database and defragment VOD billing systems. As a result of defragmentation the size of the database was significantly diminished. In addition a performance analysis and system optimization was performed.
Project description No. 3
COMMIT.IT was asked to optimize six of the core systems integrated within the National Inventory Management System (KSP). Optimization was performed for 27 databases with a total size of several tens of terabytes. Due to the optimization performance has significantly increased and the stability of system operation was achieved. Performance increased approximately by 50 to 90%. Time previously needed to generate one report was reduced from 303 to 10 minutes and the queue time of the report to be realized reduced from 325 minutes to 7.5 seconds.
Project description No. 4
The purpose of the project was to migrate data from 6 different source systems into the one major system. Our tasks were among the others to create data migration mechanisms (shell, PL / SQL), data clearing, data mapping, analysis and debugging of the migrated data.
Project description No. 5
The purpose of the project was to optimize one of the core systems within the National Inventory Management System. The system worked inefficiently, what has caused very long response time for the business processes and the significant server CPU load (on average 85-90%, sometimes achieving 100%). Optimization has significantly increased performance of the system by 82% and has diminished CPU load to the level of 35-40%. Buying new servers was not a case anymore what made a huge savings (new hardware purchase would be several times greater than the optimization costs).
